Peace by Piece--An invitation to fast and pray

Enough praise can't be given to the doctors, nurses, scientists, and others who are making heroic efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. I likewise recognize those in fields including grocery, manufacturing, and education, who are working under extraordinary burdens to maintain the stability of our society during these trying times. Thank you, all of you, for everything you do.

Like many of us, I have only a small role to play as I stay safe at home with my family. But I do want to share this: on Good Friday, already a day of fasting and prayer for many around the world, members of my church are fasting particularly to call upon the aid of Heaven in this global struggle. If you feel so inclined and your health permits, whatever your faith or lack thereof may be, I invite you to unite with us in this cause this Friday. And if you have questions as to how to do so, I'm happy to answer.

The road ahead is uncertain and fraught with challenges. But we're all in this together, and we'll make it through together.
