Ever since then I've discovered a vast world ripe for exploration--a reality, in most cases, far more interesting than dragons. With varying recurrence I've dreamed of life as a scientist, an artist, a journalist, a teacher, an architect, a psychiatrist, a radiologist, a lawyer, a land surveyor, an advertiser, a business administrator, a dentist, a pharmacist, an accountant, an event planner, a translator, a music therapist, a concert pianist, and a public relations specialist. I can't name anything I don't find fascinating to some degree.
That's because, at heart, I have always been a writer.
So, in a world where I might have loved to study any subject--in a world where I could have been anything I wanted--I earned a bachelor degree in creative writing and have never looked back.
Now I work full-time in public transit and as a dad to five kids. Someday you'll see my name on bookstore shelves. But for now, while I chisel at my stories draft by draft, this blog serves as my outlet to the world.
