Last week the President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
announced a renewed emphasis on using the proper name of the Church. With that statement, an updated
style guide suggested, among other things, that Church members should be referred to as "members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints," or simply "Latter-day Saints," and not as "Mormons."
It's nothing new. But Latter-day Saints across the Internet have lost their minds over the "change."
